Election Overview
- California is holding a Statewide Special Election on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
- The California Legislature called this election through legislation proposing a constitutional amendment that was then signed into law by the Governor.
State Measure 50
- What it is: A constitutional amendment allowing temporary changes to California's congressional district boundaries through 2030.
- What it means for voters: If passed, some voters may be assigned to a different U.S. House district in future elections (including 2026).
- What it does not do: It does not change voter eligibility, registration, or voting options.

Vote Center Information
Voters in Los Angeles County have the option to cast their ballot in-person at a participating Vote Center in an upcoming election.
Vote Centers provide modern features to make voting safe, easy, and convenient. Vote Centers also serve as a Vote by Mail Ballot Drop Box location – no need to wait, simply drop off your voted ballot at the front.

Boyle Heights Pop-Up Vote Centers
Four pop-up Vote Centers are coming to Boyle Heights. The pop-up Vote Centers will provide convenient, in-person voting options for residents of Boyle Heights and surrounding neighborhoods from November 1 through Election Day, November 4.
- Saturday, Nov. 1: Día de Los Muertos Festival, 6 PM – 10 PM

Voter Registration for Those Impacted by the Wildfires
If you've been temporarily displaced by the recent wildfires, you
do not need to change your voter registration. You can continue to use your permanent residential (home) address and
add a temporary mailing address to receive your voting materials while away from home.
